The Priory Golfing SocietyTuesday 3 September - Beaconsfield
Thirty-six members and guests attended our September meeting at Beaconsfield on a warm and sunny day.
Winner of the Edna Farndon Trophy was Doug Wilson with an excellent score of 39 points. Dave Farndon, Patron and son of Edna Farndon was on hand to present the family trophy to the winner, accompanied by nephews Jon, our present Captain, and Marcus Humphries. Runner-up was Jonathan Britton with 37 points.
The team prize went to Doug Wilson, Adrian O'Connor and John Shrewsbury with 88 points with Ron Thompson, Steve Shiebert and guest Phil Boxall in second place with 85.
Our thanks go to Jonathan Britton who proved an excellent Officer of the Day.
